Museum Passes – 2026

The Friends of Bancroft Library decided on their museum pass purchases for 2026. This year Bancroft Library will be able to loan to patrons passes for:

  • Adirondack Experience, Blue Mountain Lake, NY
  • The Wild Center, Tupper Lake, NY
  • Fort Ticonderoga, Ticonderoga, NY
  • ECHO Museum, Burlington, VT
  • Southern Vermont Art Center, Manchester, VT (this pass is part of both ROAM* and NARM**, click on link to see all museums that are included in this pass)
  • World Awareness Children’s Museum, Glens Falls, NY (this pass is part of the Empire State Reciprocal Museum Pass Program*** , click on link to see all museums that are included in this pass)

What are NARM and ROAM? The Southwestern Vermont Art Center pass can be used at other museums that are part of museum collectives called NARM and ROAM.

*ROAM stands for Reciprocal Organization of Associated Museums. It is a network of over 500 museums and cultural institutions across North America. Local museums that are part of ROAM include:

  • Berkshire Botanical Garden (Stockbridge, MA)
  • The Clark Art Institute (Williamstown, MA)
  • Williams College Museum of Art (Williamstown, MA)
  • Shaker Museum (New Lebanon, NY)

*NARM stands for North American Reciprocal Museums. It is a network of over 1,400 museums in North American and internationally. Local museums that are part of NARM include:

  • Hildene (Manchester, VT)
  • American Museum of Fly Fishing (Manchester, VT)
  • Park McCullough House (North Bennington, VT)
  • MiSci Science Museum (Schenectedy, NY)
